Kumaus Festival

Kumaus Festival is a chamber music festival located on the shore of the Lake Saimaa in southeastern Finland city of Lappeenranta. The visual identity is entirely based on an idea of a sound. "Kumaus" in English could mean a clout, a bang, or hitting an object to make a low, deep, resonating sound. The hypnotic bunch of nested circles that slowly ripple towards eternity are combined with an earthy yet punchy colour palette and a systematic layout not unknown to art music.
